Recruit two more villagers and put them on gold. This will give you a fall back when you run out of sheep, which you should do shortly. Set the two villagers back on wood until you have enough to build a mill by the nearby berry bushes. But if they aren't poking at your borders yet, we recommend these steps: If your opponents are starting to encroach and you have no defensive or recruitment-based landmark, it might be worth building a barracks. Once your villagers have finished building the landmark, you should already be well on your way to advancing to the Castle Age. If you're trying to win via wonder, we recommend prioritising landmarks that are either defense, such as The White Tower, or that can also act as recruitment buildings. Use your two lumber villagers to build the landmark.By this time you should be ready to advance to the Feudal Age.Recruit two more villagers and have them build a lumber camp.Set the three new villagers to mine gold. When the first new villager appears, have them build a house, then a mining camp by your nearest gold reserve.

I have been playing with different things, but my feudal is much later like 12:xx.įor example, typical 22 pop on Ara will be: 6 sheep, 3 wood, boar, berries, blah, blah. Like, if all sheep, boar, wood, gold, deer, everything is ideally in place. I just wanna know a basic order for an ideal map. What I am getting to: Can someone give me a very basic build order for a 10:xx feudal + grush? Like I said, I know situational factors will always play into it. And I def don't wanna be one-dimensional and one day become like 18+ at Ara and get rocked on water by 16+.Īnyway, rambling a bit. I have been playing some FR, and would like to learn more about water. Most people play Ara (or even that stupid Green kind) at my rate, and I grow tired. However, it makes it difficult for me to just get a grip on it. I watch the top players, but they are always changing things around to do what's best for the situation. I watch recs and copy bits and pieces, but I cannot get it down.
